If you are looking for a skin clinic near Edgware Road, ZARA Aesthetic Medical Clinic at 304 Edgware Road, London W2 treats a wide range of skin concerns, from pigmentation and acne to enlarged pores, dull texture, tired under-eyes and early sagging. We also offer laser hair removal, laser tattoo removal and PRP for thinning hair.
We are an aesthetic medical clinic, not a dermatology service. Each treatment begins with a consultation: we examine your skin, go through your medical history and settle the plan and price with you before any treatment. If what you describe needs a medical diagnosis, such as a changing mole, a rash nobody has diagnosed or sudden hair loss, we will suggest you see your GP or a dermatologist first.
Below, treatments are grouped by concern so you can find the right page quickly. If you are not sure where to start, book a consultation and we will point you in the right direction.
Pigmentation, melasma and sun spots
Uneven tone covers several different problems. Sun spots and age spots, melasma and dark marks left after spots each behave differently and are handled differently. Our Pigmentation treatment is £159 and the Pigmentation facial £175, both planned after we assess your pigment. Melasma is managed rather than cleared for good, and daily sun protection is part of every plan.

Acne, acne scars and enlarged pores
For active breakouts, Acne treatment is £145 and the Acne facial £175, each once your skin has been assessed. Scar lifting at £120 is aimed at rolling and boxcar acne scars, and Microneedling (face) at £120 is a course for texture and shallow scarring. Oily skin with pores that look large often suits the Carbon Peel (face) at £130. Inflamed or cystic acne may need your GP first.

Dull, dehydrated or congested skin
For a reset, the HydroFacial at £80 cleanses, exfoliates, extracts and hydrates in one 40-minute session. Our facials menu starts with the £65 Mini Facial, and also includes microdermabrasion at £70 and dermaplaning, priced at consultation, for dead skin and fine facial hair. Skin boosters, from £250, work on hydration beneath the surface. Men are welcome for every facial, and our men's facial page covers shaving irritation and oil.
Under-eyes and skin quality
Polynucleotides are an injectable treatment for skin quality under the eyes and on the face and neck, usually given as a short course, priced at consultation and for adults 18 and over. Our under-eye treatment page explains what polynucleotides can and cannot do for thin, crepey skin under the eyes. The PRP facial, which uses plasma from your own blood, is another option for skin that looks tired.
Sagging, jowls and a double chin
For mild to moderate laxity, HIFU uses focused ultrasound with no needles and is priced at consultation, while PDO threads give subtle lift, with PDO Full face at £600 and Mono Thread at £250. Fat dissolving injections, priced at consultation, are for a small pocket of fat such as under the chin and are not a weight loss treatment. These give modest, gradual change, and marked sagging is better assessed by a surgeon.

Unwanted hair, thinning hair and tattoos
Laser hair removal uses diode laser and IPL for long-term hair reduction on the face and body, with a patch test first and pricing by area at consultation. Our guides cover facial laser hair removal, laser hair removal for men, underarms, legs, Brazilian and full body treatment.
Tattoo removal fades body tattoos and cosmetic brows over a course, priced by size, and our eyebrow tattoo removal page covers microblading. PRP Hair is £150 per session and may help some people with gradual thinning once a GP has checked for underlying causes. See hair loss treatment for women.
Why does every treatment start with a consultation?
The same complaint can have different causes. Dark patches may be sun damage or melasma, and a soft jaw may be loose skin, lost volume or fat. At consultation we look at your skin, ask about your health, medicines and recent treatments, and explain which option fits, including when the honest answer is to do nothing or to see your GP first. You agree the plan and price before anything is booked, and most treatments are 40-minute appointments.
Who should wait or choose another route?
Some treatments are not offered, or are better postponed, in certain situations. We usually wait if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, if the skin in the area is infected, inflamed or broken, or if you have a fresh tan or sunburn before laser or light treatment. Some medicines and medical conditions also rule out particular treatments, which is why we go through your medical history at consultation.
Anything that needs a diagnosis, such as a new or changing mole, a rash that has not been explained or sudden hair loss, should be seen by your GP or a dermatologist first. We will tell you plainly if a treatment is not right for you.

Skin clinic: your questions answered
Is ZARA a dermatology clinic?
No. ZARA is an aesthetic medical clinic. We treat cosmetic skin concerns such as pigmentation, acne, pores and texture. For skin conditions that need a diagnosis, or anything that is changing or worrying you, see your GP, who can refer you to a dermatologist if needed.
What should I book if I am not sure which treatment I need?
Book a consultation and choose the option for a consultation on the booking form. We will look at your skin and suggest a treatment, or tell you if none is needed.
Do you treat men?
Yes. Our facials, laser hair removal and other skin treatments are available to men, and we have pages written for men's facials and laser hair removal for men.
Can I come in the evening or on a Sunday?
Yes. You can book until 8pm Monday to Saturday, and between 1pm and 5pm on Sundays and bank holidays.
Are prices shown up front?
Yes, wherever the price does not depend on your consultation, and our treatments page lists every one. Where the cost depends on the area or plan, as with HIFU or laser hair removal, we confirm it before you commit.
